As a designer, I gravitate towards the ability of good design to give people a better quality of life. Design is about much more than how an object or a space looks. Graduating from RISD with a degree in Furniture Design, I have over 20 years of professional experience working in the field of product design.
I am drawn to design as a discipline of problem solving, and aspire to expand my design capabilities/practice. I have worked for large corporations and small firms, developing a variety of products including furniture, housewares, and toys. Every product I have worked on has honed my ability to conceptualize spatial relationships, understand human-scale interaction, and source materials to achieve aesthetic and functional objectives.
